Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Senior Manager, Practice Group Marketing & Communications to serve as the embedded marketer and communications lead for a global Disputes practice. This role acts as the primary liaison between central marketing functions and practice leadership, driving awareness, engagement, and demand through integrated marketing and communications initiatives.
Operating similarly to a product or business‑unit marketing role, you will align firmwide strategy with practice‑specific priorities, working closely with partners and business development colleagues to deliver high‑impact, measurable results across content, PR, digital, social media, and events.
Practice Focus
This role supports a global Disputes practice, including Litigation, Arbitration, Antitrust, Intellectual Property, and Trade, helping clients navigate complex, high‑stakes matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute practice‑level marketing and communications plans aligned with firmwide strategy
- Partner with practice leadership to identify opportunities for visibility, thought leadership, and client engagement
- Deliver integrated campaigns across digital, PR, social media, and events
- Support client development initiatives, including targeting, cross‑selling, and key client programs
- Collaborate with Events and Communications teams on external and internal programs
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform positioning and content strategy
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all practice‑level materials
- Track performance metrics and report on impact and ROI
- Manage practice‑level marketing budgets in partnership with central teams
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or business development, preferably within professional services
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a matrixed, global environment
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, and communication skills
- Proven ability to execute integrated, multi‑channel campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus

Reports to Director, Integrated Marketing
Compensation
Estimated base salary (NY): $181,000 – $295,000
