*This role includes weekend and evening shifts on a rotating basis.
Job Purpose
As a successful UK‑based organization expands into the US market, we are seeking a dynamic, highly driven, and focused Reservations Sales Manager
In this role, there may be opportunities for future travel to one of our overseas offices for those eager to learn with a proven ability to sell our unique vacation packages. As the first step in the customer journey, this role requires someone with the passion and skill to deliver exceptional service to potential customers.
Responsibilities
· Achieve sales KPIs through effective conversion of inquiries.
· Prepare, brief, and motivate sales staff at the start of each day, communicating key messages clearly.
· Ensure prompt responses to all inbound calls and email inquiries.
· Compile and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales data.
· Collect customer feedback and conduct ongoing market research.
· Provide insights to the Product Department regarding call trends, customer feedback, and sales obstacles.
· Participate in cross‑department meetings to share information and improve business performance.
· Conduct call monitoring to assess individual and team performance, providing coaching on strengths and development areas.
· Monitor team QA and error scores, ensuring high levels of accuracy.
· Report on attendance, absences, and completion of return‑to‑work interviews.
· Handle pre‑ and post‑sales customer escalations promptly and professionally.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
· Experience within the travel industry.
· Experience in a management or supervisory role.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Teams, Outlook, and Edge.
· Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to demonstrate, analyze, and coach open-sell-close techniques in alignment with company standards.
· Adaptable and open to change as new strategies are introduced.
· Ability to maintain high morale and a positive work environment.
· Confident, resilient, friendly, and approachable.
· Flexible, decisive, and capable of quick thinking.
· Self‑motivated with a strong focus on quality and profitability.
· Ability to work extended hours when required.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure.
· Understanding of profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, including gross margin concepts.
