Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Attorney based in Melville, New York. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts/leases and other legal documents, and advising clients on real estate transactions, corporate matters, and financing.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in real estate law, including negotiating and drafting contracts, leases, and agreements involving purchases, sales, development, and financing.
  • Proficiency in corporate law practices, such as preparing organizational documents, shareholder and operating agreements, and handling mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong legal research and documentation skills, with attention to detail, compliance, and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to liaise effectively with clients, lenders, and investors.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active admission to the New York State Bar.
  • Previous experience in a legal practice with a focus on real estate and corporate matters is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
