About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Plaintiff Paralegal with a strong background in litigation to join our dynamic legal team in Bethesda, MD. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling personal injury cases from intake through trial preparation, with a proven ability to manage complex litigation matters and deliver exceptional client service. Spanish language proficiency is highly preferred to support our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and trial preparation.
- Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Document Preparation: Draft and file motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents in compliance with court rules.
- Discovery & Evidence: Organize and review medical records, bills, and other evidence; coordinate depositions and expert witnesses.
- Calendar Management: Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, and court schedules.
- Trial Support: Assist attorneys during trial preparation and proceedings.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in personal injury plaintiff litigation.
- Strong knowledge of Maryland court procedures and personal injury law.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
