We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Temporary Electronic Billing Specialist to assist with attorney rate updates, annual seniority adjustments, and timekeeper rate maintenance across multiple electronic billing systems. This individual will be responsible for validating billing information, processing rate submissions, monitoring approval statuses, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of all updates. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, learns new technology quickly, and maintains exceptional accuracy when handling large volumes of data.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Process attorney and timekeeper rate updates through various client e-billing platforms.
  • Monitor submission activity and track approval status across multiple systems.
  • Maintain and update centralized rate tracking records and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate with client contacts regarding outstanding approvals and status updates.
  • Partner with the Electronic Billing Analyst to support rate implementation initiatives.
  • Review information for completeness and accuracy before submission.
  • Assist with additional electronic billing and departmental projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in electronic billing, billing operations, or accounting support within a high-volume environment.
  • Experience working with billing and financial software, including platforms such as Aderant BillBlast, 3E, or comparable systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets and spreadsheets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and data inconsistencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications and processes quickly.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
