What You’ll Do
As a Senior Audit Associate I, you’ll:
- Supervise all aspects of audit engagements, including planning, creating, completing, and reviewing workpapers.
- Draft audited financial statements and attend client meetings as needed.
- Train and mentor junior staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Develop technical knowledge of GAAP, OCBOA, specialized accounting principles, and financial statement presentations.
- Gain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures.
- Begin building strong client relationships and loyalty.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required).
- CPA license, passed CPA exam, or requisite hours to sit for the exam.
- 2+ years of relevant public accounting experience.
- Experience auditing not-for-profit and affordable housing entities preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
