Role Overview:
Join a top law firm’s Marketing and BD Department. Work closely with industry group leaders, partners, and BD leads to raise the firm’s visibility and expand client relationships within designated industry sectors. Reports to the Director of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support marketing, business, and client development initiatives for assigned industry groups.
  • Build deep knowledge of industry trends, client business environments, and competitive landscape.
  • Execute business development plans and monitor progress.
  • Manage logistics for conferences, sponsorships, and speaking engagements.
  • Coordinate firm-hosted events and assist on-site as needed.
  • Support proposals and industry-focused submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500).
  • Develop and maintain BD collateral (brochures, decks, bios, experience lists, webpages).
  • Oversee newsletters and communications for internal/external audiences.
  • Mentor junior staff and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years in law firm BD or legal marketing (professional services experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of BD processes and proposal development.
  • Familiarity with industries such as Life Sciences, Defense, Consumer Products, Tech & Media, Financial Services, or Energy preferred.
  • Strong project management, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with marketing databases (Foundation, InterAction, Intapp DealCloud) is a plus.
