Business Development Manager – Emerging Companies & Venture Capital
Location: Palo Alto or San Fran
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with startups, accelerators, investors, and industry organizations.
- Identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities through events, sponsorships, and networking.
- Conduct market research and provide insights to inform business development strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams on pitches, proposals, and marketing initiatives.
- Manage CRM updates, track metrics, and report progress to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of startup culture and venture capital ecosystem.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of transactional practices (M&A, private equity, capital markets).
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- 8+ years of experience in legal, tech, or business development; 3+ years in VC or startup-focused roles.
Comp: $185,000 – $232,000
